I make titanium gongs and explore their sound, material qualities and response. This channel documents my workshop process, the behaviour of titanium as an acoustic material and the use of gongs in sound work, listening and musical contexts. Videos include making processes, sound demonstrations and longer listening sessions recorded without added music or effects. More information about my work and instruments can be found on my website: www.barrymasonfineart.com
